For example, during last month’s active shooting in a school in Nashville, TN, it took first responders 10 minutes to arrive at the scene. The first shots were fired at 10:11 am. Two minutes later, first responders received notification about the active shooting in the school. Eight minutes later, first responders arrived at the scene.
